You might remember Tom from last week, when I mentioned he was the reason I downloaded Boredoms. I've been a fan of Tom's for awhile but only recently got around to downloading his free EPs (the other one is Trockstuff, featuring songs about Doctor Who). I am enjoying them very much. Tom wrote a nice little informative blog post about Geometry and how he made the songs, which you should just read instead of having me regurgitate it for you. I think the whole idea is really neat; I've heard of math rock before but never really listened to any (Venetian Snares is my only exposure to IDM). I'd say this is as good a place as any to start. Hey, it's free, so you might as well give it a shot, right? :P

I like music like this because it makes me feel very focused. I'm not sure why. But that's why I listen to it, to focus. That's why I love Assymetric so much, it just gets into my head and forces me to focus.

That's all I have to say for today.

[No Youtube video this week, just go download it and check it out :)]
